Hill River Township

The annual election and meeting of the Township of Hill River, County of Polk, State of Minnesota, will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Hill River Town Hall.

The Polls will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to elect one (2) Supervisors for a term of three (3) and two (2) years and one (1) Clerk/Treasurer for a period of two years.

The annual meeting will start as soon as possible after the polls close to conduct all and any business that comes up at the meeting.

If necessary, the storm date shall be one week later. Notice will then be given over the Fosston Radio Station.

Mahnomen County

Notice is hereby given that a township election will be held in Island Lake Township in Mahnomen County, State of Minnesota, on March 12, 2024, which will be held at Clerk’s home.

Offices to be elected are

(1) One Clerk for 2-year Term.

The Board of Canvass will convene immediately following the closing of the polls.

The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:15 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

Sletten Township will hold its township election on March 12 from 5-8:00 at the town hall. We will vote for one supervisor and one clerk. The annual meeting will follow the election.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That a Presidential Nomination Primary will be held in the Election Precinct above named by mail ballot on Tuesday, the Fifth (5th) day of March, 2024 for the purpose of electing candidates for the following office to-wit:

Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 207A.11, a Presidential Nomination Primary will be held on March 5, 2024, in the State of Minnesota, the County of Mahnomen.
Presidential nomination primary voters must be registered to vote pursuant to Minnesota Statute 201.054, subd. 1.
Nomination primary voters must also request the ballot of the major political party for whose candidate the individual wishes to vote. Polling place election judges must record in the polling place roster the name of the major political party whose ballot the voter requested. The county auditor must include the name of the major political party whose ballot the voter requested with the voting history of the nomination primary election.
The major political party ballot selected by a nomination primary voter is private data, except that it will be shared with the chairs of the major political parties in the State of Minnesota.
