NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Independent School District No. 601, located 301 First Street East, Fosston, Minnesota 56542, will receive until 10:00 AM CDT, June 3, 2026 written quotations and qualifications from qualified service providers interested in providing District student transportation services commencing with contract year 2026-27.
General Specification may be obtained by contacting the District Office of Independent School District No. 601 located at the above address and at 218-435-6335 or Tom Watson, The Watson Consulting Group at 612-751-0124.
Written quotations consistent with the District’s General Specification must be received in an envelope clearly marked “STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES” on or before the above date and time, by:

On the above date and time authorized persons of Independent School District No. 601 will publicly open the quotations received and names of service providers.
After opening and reviewing the written quotations received not later than the due date, the District, at its sole discretion, may award a contract to more than one interested qualified service provider. After receiving the written quotations, the District may also enter into direct negotiations with one or more qualified student transportation services provider(s) for a contract(s) with terms, rates and provisions agreeable to the District.
Independent School District No. 601 is using the written quotation and direct negotiation process established by Minnesota Statutes Section 123B.52, Subds. 1 and 3 for the procurement of this contract, and disclaims usage of any other contract procurement options such as sealed bids allowed under applicable law. The School District reserves the right to reject any and all quotations and waive irregularities therein, and further reserves the right to award a contract to the lowest responsible service provider(s) that is in the best interest of Independent School District No. 601.

NOTICE OF AND ORDER FOR HEARING ON PETITION FOR DETERMINATION OF DESCENT, MULTIPLE DECEDENTS
Glenn Rafferty (“Petitioner”) has filed a Petition for Determination of Descent with multiple decedents. It is Ordered that on June 17, 2026, at 9:00 am, a hearing will be held in this Court at Crookston, MN, via Zoom, on these petitions. The petitions represent that each of the Decedents died more than three (3) years ago leaving property in Minnesota. The petitions request the Court probate Decedent #1’s last Will dated February 14, 2000, probate Decedent #2’s last Will dated October 12, 2001, determine the descent of such property, and assign the property to the persons entitled in a consolidated proceeding.
Any objections to the petitions must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petitions are proper and no objections are filed or raised, the petitions will be granted.
Notice shall be given by publishing this Notice and Order as provided by law and by mailing a copy of this Notice and Order to each interested person by United States mail at least 14 days before the time set for the hearing.
