STREET SWEEPER FOR SALE ON SEALED BIDS
The City of Fertile is selling a 1991 Elgin Pelican SE street sweeper with 7933 hours on it. Full service was done in February of 2022 and all fluids, filters, and belts were replaced. Hydraulic leaks were also repaired in 2022. Mechanical issues include brakes that do not work but sweeper can still be stopped safely using the hydrostatic pedal. Several gauges indicating the level of the underbrush and gutter brushes are not working. Minimum bid starting at $ 7,000. Bid opening will be July 8, 2024 at the regular City Council meeting. The City has the right to reject any and all bids.

The annual election and meeting of the Vernes Cemetery Association will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the Vermes Lutheran Church. The meeting shall start at 7:00 p.m. and all association members are invited to attend.
