It is Ordered and Notice is given that on December 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. a hearing will be held via virtual meeting. To join the virtual meeting, any individuals will connect using the following: https://zoomgov.com/join or via telephone at 1-833-568-8864 using the Judge’s meeting ID which is:160 783 0487, Passcode:536669 for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Michael T. Thygeson, whose address is 105 3rd Ave W, Kalispell, MT 59901 as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

The Board of Education of Independent School District No. 601 of Fosston, Minnesota requests sealed bids for 2014 International (A-14) 71 Passenger School Bus. VIN #4DRBUAAP5EB778879. 128,095 miles on the engine. Bus runs well and has good tires. Bus will be sold as is.
Bids are to be opened by the Superintendent on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Superintendent’s Office. Award of Service will be acted upon at the regular school board meeting November 18, 2024. Submit all bids to Superintendent Todd Selk, 301 E 1st St, Fosston, Minnesota 56542.
The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the general election has been called and will be held in and for Independent School District No. 601, (Fosston), State of Minnesota, on Tuesday, the 5th day of November, 2024, for the purpose of electing four (4) school board members for four-year terms. The ballot shall provide as follows:

ASSIGNED POLLING PLACES
Any eligible voter residing in the school district may vote at said election at the polling place designated above for the precinct in which he or she resides. The polls for said election will open at 8:00 o’clock a.m. and will close at 8:00 o’clock p.m. on the date of said election.
A voter must be registered to vote to be eligible to vote in this election. An unregistered individual may register to vote at the polling place on election day.

On the back of all ballots shall be printed “OFFICIAL BALLOT,” the date of election, and lines for the initials of two judges. The printing shall be so placed as to be visible when the ballot is properly folded for deposit.
1. The name of each candidate for office at this election shall be rotated with the names of the other candidates for the same office so that the names of each candidate appears substantially an equal of times at the top, at the bottom and at each intermediate place in the group of candidates for that office.
2. If the school district will be contracting to print the ballot for this election, the clerk is hereby authorized and directed to prepare instructions to the printer for layout of the ballot. Before a contract in excess of $1,000 is awarded for the printing ballots, the printer shall furnish, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 204D.04, a sufficient bond, letter of credit, or certified check acceptable to the clerk in an amount not less than $1,000 conditioned on printing the ballots in conformity with the Minnesota election law and the instructions delivered. The clerk shall set the amount of the bond, letter of credit, or certified check in an amount equal to the value of the purchase.
