NOTICE AND ORDER OF HEARING ON PETITION FOR PROBATE OF WILL AND APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on June 4, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. a hearing will be held via virtual meeting. To join the virtual meeting, any individuals will connect using the following: https://zoomgov.com/join or via telephone at 1-833-568-8864 using the Judge’s meeting ID which is: 160 472 6181 Passcode 640613, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Will of the Decedent dated, July 11, 2008, (“Will”), and for the appointment of Debra Kiel, whose address is 36044 275th Ave SW, Crookston, MN, 56716 as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

#2025-1 An Ordinance of the City of Nielsville to Regulate Cannabis Businesses
This is a summary of the Ordinance the City Council of the City of Nielsville, MN does hereby ordain as follows:
The Purpose of this ordinance is to implement the provisions of Minnesota Statues, Chapter 342, which authorizes City of Nielsville to protect the public health, safety and welfare of City residents by regulating cannabis businesses within the legal boundaries of the City.
This ordinance was adopted by the City Council of the City of Nielsville this 5th day of May 2025.
A printed copy of this ordinance is available for inspection during regular office hours of the City Clerk.

#2025-1 An Ordinance of the City of Climax to Regulate Cannabis Businesses
The City Council of the City of Climax has adopted Ordinance No. 2025-1. This ordinance describes the purpose and procedures pertaining to the enforcement of administrative offenses and the issuance of related penalties for those offenses.

Resolution #2025-8, authorizing publication of the ordinances by the title and summary above was unanimously passed on May 5, 2025, by the Climax City Council.

City of Nielsville
#2025-2 An Ordinance Providing the Keeping of Chickens
This is a summary of the Ordinance the City Council of the City of Nielsville, MN does herby ordain:
Section 1.
The purpose of this ordinance and intent of this ordinance to permit the keeping and maintenance of chicken hens for eggs and meat sources in a clean and sanitary manner that is not a nuisance to or detrimental to the public health, safety, and welfare of the community.
Section 3.
No more than four (4) chickens shall be housed or kept on any one residential lot in any area of the city deemed residential.
Chickens must be confined at all times in a chicken coop or chicken run.
Section 5.
No person shall own, keep or harbor or have custody of any live chickens without first obtaining a permit from the City, subject to all terms and conditions of this ordinance.
This ordinance was adopted by the City Council of the City of Nielsville this 5th day May, 2025.
