Notice is hereby given, that on the 14TH day of July 2025 An ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FOSSTON AMENDING FOSSTON CITY CODE, SECTION 701.10 SUBDIVISION 29 RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS, SECTION IV PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
was adopted by the City Council of Fosston, Minnesota.
Notice is further given that due to the lengthy nature of the ordinance, the City Council has directed that this title and summary be prepared for publication pursuant to Minn. Stat. 412.191, Subd. 4.
Notice is further given that a complete printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection by any person during normal business hours of the City Administrator, 220 East First St., Fosston, MN, or will be mailed to anyone requesting it by telephone (218) 435-1959.
Notice is further given that the general purpose of the ordinance is to amend the code to promote the health, safety, general welfare, and zoning and land use objectives of the city.
Notice is further given that the Council has by a minimum 4/5 vote approved this public notice on the 14th day of July 2025

REQUEST FOR DEMOLITION BID:
The School Board of Independent School District No. 601 of Fosston, Minnesota requests bids for demolition of Methodist Church and parsonage. Haul all debris away, backfill as needed, and the lot should be buildable upon completion.
1. The District is exempt from paying State and Federal taxes.
2. Quotes are to be opened August 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Superintendent’s Office at the Fosston High School. Award of Service will be acted upon at the regular school board meeting August 18, 2025.
3. Bids should be mailed or delivered to: Todd Selk, Superintendent, Fosston High School, 301 E First Street, Fosston, MN 56542.
4. The Fosston Board of Education reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any or all quotes.
