General Notice
The City of Fosston (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
9th Street Road and Utility Improvements
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Fosston City Hall located at 220 1st St. E, Fosston, MN 56542, until February 19th, 2026 at 2:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work:
Watermain replacement, hydrant and valve replacement, sanitary manhole replacement, sanitary sewer replacement, asphalt removal and replacement, aggregate backfill, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, erosion and sediment control, temporary traffic control, hydroseeding, and other related work.
Bids are requested for the following Contract:
Base Bid – 9th Street Road and Utility Improvements
Alternate No. 1 – 4” Concrete Sidewalk
Alternate No. 2 – Northwood Avenue Sewer and Watermain Extension

All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Notice to the residents of Island Lake Township:
Notice is hereby given that a township elections will be held in Island Lake Township in Mahnomen County, State of Minnesota, on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, in the backroom of the Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse.
Offices to be elected are:
One (1) Supervisor for a 3-year term and One (1) Clerk for a 2-year term.
Election hours are from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Regular monthly meeting will be held at 7:00 with the Annual Meeting following Elections at 8:15 pm.
In case of inclement weather, Elections and Annual Meeting will be held the following Tuesday.
