NOTICE OF AND ORDER FOR HEARING ON PETITION FOR FORMAL PROBATE OF WILL AND APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
It is Ordered and Notice is given that on August 12, 2026, at 9:00 am, a hearing will be held in this Court at Crookston, Minnesota, on a petition for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the decedent’s Will dated May 12, 2001, and for the appointment of Glenn Rafferty, whose address is 38735 State 92, Bagley, MN 56621, as personal representative of the decedent’s estate in an unsupervised administration.
Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the decedent’s estate, including the power to collect all assets; pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the decedent’s estate.
Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four (4) months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

NOTICE OF FILING DATES FOR ELECTION TO THE SCHOOL BOARD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 601 FOSSTON
STATE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of Independent School District No. 601 shall begin on July 14, 2026, and shall close at 5:00 o’clock p.m. on July 28, 2026, with withdrawal date of July 30, 2026.
The general election shall be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. At that election, three (3) members will be elected to the School Board for terms of four (4) years each.
Affidavits of Candidacy are available from the school district clerk, Fosston High School, Superintendent’s Office, 301 1st St E, Fosston, MN 56542. The filing fee for this office is $2. A candidate for this office must be an eligible voter, must be 21 years of age or more on assuming office, must have been a resident of the school district from which the candidate seeks election for thirty (30) days before the general election, and must have no other affidavit on file for any other office at the same primary or general election.
The affidavits of candidacy must be filed in the office of the school district clerk and the filing fee paid prior to 5:00 o’clock p.m. on July 28, 2026.

The following City of Fosston Offices will be voted for at the general election to be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Candidates may begin filing for these offices on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
